Since #132, it has been possible to use the vale-action with reviewdog 0.20.2 via
reviewdog20branch. Since then, there have been changes to the release branch that are missing from thereviewdog20branch. It will be nice if the branches can be kept in sync to prevent them from diverging too much, especially considering that it may be desired to make functionality currently present only on thereviewdog20branch also available on the main release at some point in the future.This PR adds release branch changes to the the reviewdog20 branch. I cherry-picked to ensure original contribution info from those changes gets carried over.
